Throwing a good-bye smile at the strange man, Sky walked through the automatic doors with a huge grin of excitement. As the doors slid shut behind her, she quickly grabbed for Charm's ball on her belt (yes she has a belt). Throwing the ball high into the air, a shinning light explodes from the ball and out jumps Charm. Giggling excitedly, Sky motions for Charm to come with her as she takes off into the knee-high grass. Charm smiles and begins to race after her trainer into the wilds of the Safari Zone.

(Might want to have longer posts. Just a suggestion.)
As Sky Wolf And Charm Sprinted, Charm Notice Strange Sounds. She Decided Not To Tell Her Trainer, As It Was Not REALLY Imporant.
But, Boy, It Was.
The Sounds Became Louder Until Sky Was Able To Hear It!
Out From Behind Them Comes A Level 3 Meowth!
It Stares At You For A Moment, Then Strectches It's Arms! It Moves Into A Battle Position!
It Growls At You, And Then Starts To Move Toward You Cautiously...

Charm and Sky froze in their tracks as a Meowth appeared in front of them. It was growling ferociously and slowly inching closer to them. Charm let out a warning growl by instinct and also took
a fighting stance. Sky was shaking but not from fright but from excitement.
"Oh wow a Meowth! I wouldn't mind having one of those..." Sky smiled at Charm who had ceased her growling and nodded to Sky. "Ready Charm?" Sky asked Charm. Charm's smile said it all...she was
definitely up for the fight. "Okay then, use Scratch on it!" She blurted out confidently. Charm obeyed and began to charge at the Meowth at full speed with her arm raised. Her claws glowed brightly as she closed the gap between her and her opponent...
(hope this is better...I didn't know if I could describe the attack making contact so I didn't)

As Charm Kept Racing Toward Meowth, Meowth Stopped In It's Tracks And Dived To The Side To Evade The Attack!
BATTLE START!!!
Lvl. 3 Male Meowth (Abbreviation For This Battle: Just Meowth.)
VS
Lvl. 5 Charm (Charmander)
CHARM: 20HP
MEOWTH: 20HP
Meowth Suddenly Felt That Charm Meant Danger, so he Purrs Softly, Using Growl! It Lowers Charm's Attack! Meowth Then Gets Ready To Use A Scratch Attack!
Charm Waits Anxiously For The Next Command!

Charm missed the Meowth and stumbled past it. As she was trying to regain her balance, the enemy Meowth let out a throaty growl. Charm managed to regain her footing but the growl made her confidence lessen and she feel to her knees with her tiny hands over her ears, shaking. Sky called out to her pokemon: "Come on Charm you can do it! Quick, zig-zag to confuse it and try your Scratch attack again!" Sky encouraged.
Shaking off the effects of the Growl, Charm quickly leap back to her feet and once more began to go for Meowth with her claws extended and raised. As she ran, she kept zig-zagging from right to left to try and confuse Meowth, or at least make it harder for him to hit her. Charm got within' 6 feet of the Meowth and leap high into the air then brought her claws down toward Meowth with extreme force.

Charm Comes Ferociously Down, With Her Arm Pushed Out Behind Her, Charging Up A Brutal Attack!
She Plummets Down On Meowth, Making It Impossible For Meowth To Use His Attack!She Extends Her Claws into Meowth's Stomach, Leaving A Big Bruise, And Causing SEVERE Damage!!!
-CRITICAL HIT!-
CHARM: 20
MEOWTH: 9
Meowth's Balance Becomes Very Wobbly, As It Sits down Catching It's Breath. It Looks Down At The Bruise On Its Stomach. There Was Also A Deep Cut That Looked Very Severe.
It Got back Up On It's Feet, And Stared Angrily and Charm. Charm Started To Shiver In Fear.
Meowth's Claw Started To Shiver Too, But It Was Charging Up A Scratch Attack More Brutal Than Charm's!

Charm was frozen in place because of the Meowth. Meowth's claws began to glow as he charged up for an attack. Charm looked back questioningly at Sky, waiting for her to give an order. Thinking the situation out as quick as she could she finally had a plan of action...she was going to try and capture it. After all, it was now injured and weakened enough to make a capture easier. So Sky grabbed for a pokeball on her belt and snapped it off.
"Don't attack it Charm, but if it comes for you then do your best to dodge, okay?" Sky looked at her Charmander. Charm nodded and shook off some of the paralysis caused by the Meowth's Growl. She then took a fighting stance and held her ground. Sky, seizing the opportunity, released the ball in her hand with a quick flick of the wrist and watched in anticipation as the pokeball flew across the field at the Meowth.

The Meowth Stopped Completely In It's Tracks Due To Fatigue.
It Collapsed Down To The Ground, Unaware Of The Pokeball Heading Right For It. Charm's Fear Instilled In Her Had Vanished, As It Soon Turned Into Excitement.
The Pokeball Flew Open, Letting Out A Burst Of White Light That Spread Everywhere And Consumed The Almost Unconscious Meowth.
The Ball Shut, And Fell Straight To The Ground. It Wiggled, Left and Right, Until It Finally Came To a Stop. The White Light Completely Faded, And The Ball Made A Locking Noise!
Congratulations! You Have Just Caught A New Level 3 Meowth!
BATTLE END
Charms Eyes Flew Open And Jumped In The Air, Doing Somewhat Of A Victory Dance.

Sky jolted over to the still pokeball and scooped it up. Charm came prancing behind her, still doing a little victory dance. Sky held the ball out in Charm's face and giggled:
"We did it! Way to go. Not bad for our first try, huh?" Charm nodded and posed confidently with her hands on her hips and nose in the air. Snapping the ball onto her belt, Sky and Charm continued to walk on through the grass with a new found confidence in their abilities, in search of more pokemon...
